Ingersoll Rand Launch Briton 2900 Automatic Door in Qatar


Qatar witnessed the launch of Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies latest offering to the Middle East & Africa market, the Briton 2900 Series Automatic Sliding Door, to satisfy growing demand for a slimline automatic door solution.

The launch event was held on November 26, 2012 at the Radisson Blu hotel in Doha, and received an overwhelming response.

The gathering, comprised of consultants and architects, showed a keen interest in knowing details about the newly launched product.

Roy Simon, Business Development Manager MEA, kicked off the event with a presentation and a video of the Briton 2900 automatic sliding door.

The second presentation was made by Mohammed Salim Ishaq, Architectural Hardware Consultant, about Ingersoll Rand, what it has the potential to do as a conglomerate, and an overview of the Security Technologies sector. The event ended with interactions over dinner.

Commenting on the launch of Briton 2900 automatic sliding door, Mr. Binu Thomas, Managing Director at JAFCO, said, "The highlights of the Briton 2900 Series Automatic Door are slimline modular system applicable for single and double leaf doors, easy access digital keypad for changing closing and opening speeds and functions, and a combined safety sensor which detects motion and presence."

He added "The door operator will ensure that the doors never shut on unsuspecting users and can be integrated electronically with a fire alarm system and failsafe unit powered by a self-charging battery."
